Gravenheide Manor –
summer residence
on the shore of Lake Jugla
The neighbourhood of Jugla has an old history and a magical atmosphere that people have appreciated for centuries. 18. During the mid-18th century, on the shore of Lake Jugla, a suburban summer residence was built in the best Baroque traditions – Gravenheide Manor. It belonged to a merchant, a senior member of the Great Guild, senior Blackhead and Blue Guard Commander or rotmeister Ernst Heydevogel (1723–1788).

The Open-Air Museum
On other side of Like Jugla is a unique museum, which is one of the oldest and largest open-air museums in Europe, which welcomed visitors to first museum exhibition in 1932.
Rīga Motor Museum
The biggest vintage vehicle museum in the Baltic States, which was founded in 1989 at the initiative of the Latvian Antique Automobile Club. The museum is in east Rīga, in Mežciems, right next to the Jugla territory. Muzejs atrodas Rīgas austrumu daļā, Mežciemā, pie pašas Juglas teritorijas robežas.
